Bidding

Once you have received confirmation that your Salford Home Search application has been activated will be able to start placing bids on properties. (No money or financial commitment is involved).  You will have a maximum of three bids at any one time.

New properties are advertised most days. You can place bids for properties on Salford Home Search by logging into your application, to do this click on the Sign in option at the top of the page.

You will only be able to place bids for properties that have been advertised in your category and with your bedroom requirements.

If you are unable to place a bid online, you can contact Salford Home Search on 0161 793 3282 to request a bid be placed on your behalf.  When you call please have your application reference number to hand. If a member of staff places a bid on your behalf, only a member of staff can remove it. If you wish to remove a bid, you have requested via the phone line please call back to request its removal.

You can also set up property alerts to receive an email when a property in your preferred area is advertised, to remind you to log into the site and bid.

Properties advertised homes available now where you are required to contact the relevant landlord direct, do not require a bid so do not count towards your three bids.
